ICD-10 For Mental Health Providers
Preparation for the upcoming ICD-10 can be scary for the private practitioner,
especially if you do your own billing.
Please join me in a presentation of the Mental Health Codes that will be required October 1, 2015.
You will be provided with an overview of ICD-10
and a laminated reference list of Psychiatric Diagnoses from the ICD-10-CM.
We will have some discussion of cases
and how they could be coded to avoid rejection from insurance companies.

Medicare is requiring social workers and psychologists to participate in PQRS to avoid penalties.
It appears that each year there are changes that you will need to understand for compliance.
